1978–1979 | DORA THEOPHILOU PHARMACY IS BORN
Ms. Dora Theophilou following her graduation from the University of Athens Pharmacy School opens a Pharmacy in Limassol-CY.
1978-2009 | A FOCUS ON LUXURY
The 1978s began also with a defining moment – the opening of Dora Theophilou Haute Parfumerie; the first luxury perfumery in Cyprus. This Store set the tone for the future direction of the company and pioneered many of the signature and operated Stores now delivered. Within a few years, the company’s portfolio also included all major Worldwide Beauty and Fragrance Brands at the time setting the benchmark in the Cyprus Beauty and Fragrance field.
2009 – 2010 | EXPANSION INTO LUXURY PERFUME BRANDS AND BRANDING UPDATE
The 2010s unveiled a major high-quality renovation of the flagship Store. Dora Theophilou as a distinct brand was coming into its own and trusted with Cyprus exclusivity by Puredistance Master Perfumes and Amouage.
2011 – 2014 | GROWTH AROUND CYPRUS. HILTON CYPRUS NICOSIA. NEW EXCLUSIVITIES
Acclaimed as a Cyprus leader in luxury perfumery, the Dora Theophilou Haute Parfumerie store at Hilton Cyprus was launched. New Distribution exclusivities begun to be welcomed on board; Xerjoff, Maison Francis Kurkdjian, Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle, By Terry, Caron, Bergman Beauty Care, j.f.Lazartigue, Roja Parfums, Escentric Molecules, Nasomato, Orto Parisi and more.
2014– 2015 | TRUSTED BY LIMASSOL MARINA
Our company was trusted by Limassol Marina for an Haute Parfumerie and Pharmacy; the official perfumery and pharmacy of Limassol Marina.
2016 – 2017 | A GLOBAL REPUTATION. NEW DIVISION-AGORATOPIA.COM
As its fourth decade almost began, Dora Theophilou continued to grow – in both size and recognition. The company now integrated other branded divisions. Agoratopia.com was launched specializing on the online industry. The strength of the Dora Theophilou brand had become a promise of a quality in all divisions.
2017 – PRESENT | ELYSIUM PERFUMERY
Dora Theophilou has kept the focus on expansion. Equally important has been the company’s emphasis on quality, creativity and innovation, enhancing its leadership in luxury retail distribution. The company has become interested in creating, operating and managing new concept Stores and has proudly launched and approved ELYSIUM PERFUMERY; the official Elysium Hotel's high level perfumery. New Brands trusted the organisation with exclusive Distribution; the Different Company and more.
